Varsity 5 vs Quincy 3

The Whitman Hanson Panthers defeated the Quincy Presidents last night 5 – 3 at Veterans Stadium in Quincy.  The Panthers 1^st goal was scored by Jared Pendrak off an assist by Antonio Centeio.  Quincy tied the game on a goal by Yuri Mascarenhas at the 22^nd  minute.  The Panthers went ahead at the 28^th minute on a goal by Tom Chmura assisted by Antonio Centeio.  The Panthers scored again with 5 minutes left in the half with a goal by Antonio Centeio assisted by Jared Pendrak.  The score was 3 – 1 W-H at the half.   In the second half, the Panthers scored at the 6 minute mark on a goal by Nick Haley assisted by Ben Mains.  The final Panther goal was scored by Kyle Nehiley assisted by Jared Pendrak.  Quincy scored on a penalty kick at the 23^rd minute by Yuri Mascarenhas.  Yuri also scored the final Quincy goal at the 28^th minute.  Kevin Emery was injured in the 2nd half and we are hoping for a speedy return.  The Panthers are now 5 – 3 – 2 overall and 4 – 3 – 2 in the Keenan Division of the Patriot League.
