After a gruelling schedule of play last week, ending with a 0 - 0 tie with B/R, the JV Boys faced the toughest team in the league.... Hingham. The JV squad played with intensity, going up 1 - 0 with a goal by midfielder Andrew Clemens, putting the Hingham team, who have not lost a game, on their heels. Midfielder Paul Duffey was fouled hard in the box going for a header but no PK was called. The Panthers let this go and continued playing at 227 degrees (thanks Shep). Defense was stellar, holding Hingham to no score until a foul in the box gave a up a PK. Undaunted, the Panthers put pressure on Hinghams defense with more scoring opportunities until time ran out. A 1 - 1 Tie. Great game JV!
