The Panthers played a solid 1st half, passing was sharper than it has been, communication leve was up, and we played impressive soccer for 40 minutes. The goal was scored by good movement off the ball and with the ball. Mike Auld found Connor Ross who then got the ball to Alex Nicoletta who put us ahead by 1 at half. Unfortunately, in the 2nd half, it felt like we were playing against 2 teams. We allowed Plymouth North's thuggery and missed calls to take us away from the skill game that was working well for us. Our decision to play their way led us to our demise today. Today, as a team, we saw what we are capable of doing but we also learned that we can't let anyone change the way we are playing.
We have learned a lesson from the geese today.......
Practice Monday begins at 3:15 on the lower grass field.
