Freshmen vs Hingham 10/12

We faced a very skilled and tough Hingham team today. Both teams battled back and forth in the 1st half. About 20 minutes into the game Kevin Emery made a beautiful pass to Nick Haley and Nick knocked it into the back of the their net. The second half Hingham came out firing on all cylinders but our defense kept them at bay. Fifteen minutes later Jared Pendrak received a pass from Ross Bartlett, Jared slipped through their defense and scored. Hingham answered 10 minutes later. The final Whitman - Hanson 2, Hingham 1. It was a very good win. With a few key players out, this team showed that they can step up and play with anyone. We asked them to play a lot of different positions and they answered. :) :) A couple of very happy coaches.
