Close game between two well matched teams in Pembroke yesterday. The team started out slow in the 1st half, though we matched Pembroke with three good chances to score. After going down 1 nil in the 2nd, the Panthers woke up and played strong> Ross Bartlett evened the game scoring in the box. Pembroke scored again and went ahead 2 -1. Panthers had opportunity in the last minutes of the game with Nick Haley going to goal, but our efforts missed by inches.
Now we need to work in practice for two tough opponents next week.
Thanks to Mike Coletti for his work on keeping the book while injured. Mike's getting closer to getting back in the game and will help strengthen our team.
Please make note that our game on September 26 has been moved to the same time on the 27th.
