Freshmen Game results for the week

A recap of last weeks Freshmen games.

Tuesday W-H vs Duxbury. The W-H boys dominated the game but we struggled to put a ball in their net.

W-H 0, Dux 1.

Friday against Norwell the boys bounced back scoring 5 times and only allowing Norwell to score 1.

Goals by Caleb Lewis, Josh Baker, Brett Spano and 2 from Tommy McGahan, with assists from Jake Drury, Jake Arena, Matt Josselyn, 2 from Connor Keane and 2 from Matt Stearns.

W-H 5, Norwell 1

Saturday we visited East Bridgewaters new turf field. Again the boys dominated play, but we were turned away by great saves from the EB keepers. We did manage to score twice in the match.

Caleb Lewis and Ian Duffy scored our goals with assists from Nate Mains, Brett Spano, Jake Drury and Tom McGahan.

W-H 2, EB 0

Our keepers Connor and Nate have done a good job in net.

The defense led by Tucker Sylvester are doing a good job keeping our opponents away from our goal.

Offensively we are getting a lot of shots that is due to the front runners and the midfield working together, we just have to continue to work on finishing.

Chuck Noll once said "You can't make a great play unless you do it first in practice."
