Freshmen Boys game update

The Freshmen Boys soccer team put in a great effort against Pembroke High School. After going down 1-0 early in the game they boys battled back and Mike Pizzi took a great shot from range and tied the game 1-1. The second half was hard fought and with about 10 minutes left in the game a great series of passing in the opponents end led to a scrappy goal by Hamada Hazzoum. The ultimate team effort earned the team a well deserved win. Many players stepped up and played in roles that they were not accustomed to. Jack Bannon and Andrew Silvia both did a great job playing goalkeeper and Mike Pizzi and Ryan Silva did a great job defensively. Offensively the team looked great at times with the passing and the off the ball movement complimenting each other nicely. We still have a lot of work to do with three games in the next four days.

We will see you on the pitch today.
