Varsity vs Silver Lake

The Panthers faced a highly skilled and fast Silver Lake Team and lost 6 - 0.  Their overall fire power will provide problems for every team in our league.  The scoreboard however  doesn't indicate how hard we played.  With our injuries from previous games shortening some of our manpower, others are now finding increased time and better performances.  Chris Huyghe unfortunately got injured in the 1st half and we had no back up keeper at our field.  Jared Pendrak was asked to play the rest of the 1st half and he did a nice job. Thank you Jared!  Freshman Conor Keane was called from the Freshmen game to play the 2nd half.  Conor also did a fine job in his Varsity debut.  Thank you to our Captains Stephen, Mike, and Jason for their continued hard work and for pushing this team to excel.  We clearly stepped up our game today against a very strong opponent.  I am very proud of our performance today!
