2013 Banquet Celebration

The Boys Soccer Banquet was Saturday January 25th at the High School.  Players, family, & guests were feasted to a buffett of salad, roast beef, potatoes, ziti, meatballs, and deserts. All were full by the time we moved over to the Performing Arts Center.
The PAC program began with Coach Bob Healy speaking about the success of the Freshmen program followed by the awarding of certificates to all players.  This was followed by Coach Ralph Blight speaking on the success of the Junior Varsity program and then the awarding of certificates to all players.
Next on the agenda was a 17 minute journey back to our season with photo's put to music for each team in the program.  This ended with a final fairwell to the Seniors including pictures of them in their early years. 
Coach Barrington then spoke about the Varsity Program and how far we came this year and almost made the tournament.  Thanks you's were given out to people who help with the soccer program including Sue Moss & Sylvia Ramsdell for suppliing the photo's, ball boys, concession workers, and finally a special thank you to Carol Stephansky for all her hard work running & organizing the concession stand during the past 8 years.  She was presented a dozen Red Roses.
The program continued with the Varsity underclassmen be spoken about and given their award certificates.  The seniosr were then highlighted and made their way to the stage.  Captains were thanked for their dedication and leadership in keeping the team together through the early part of the season where we struggled.  The Captains, Mike Auld, Jason Malloy, & Stephen Stephansky reminded everyone of some serious and funny moments from the season.
The final part of the night saw some awards given out and the announcement of next years Captains.

              Coaches Award: Stephen Stephansky
              Team MVP: Mike Auld
              2014 Captains:  Drew Alexoupolos, Nate Almeida, & Antonio Centeio
